Comentario del The St. Regis Mumbai 5*

Conocemos ya varios St Regis, la comida es un punto muy fuerte que nos hace repetir por que pensábamos era una garantía, eso era hasta el St Regis de Mumbai, fuimos el primer día al 7 Kitchen al buffet de medió dia, a mi los mariscos no me llamaron la atención por no lucir apetecible, mi marido se lanzó a un langostino enorme y en el plato se quedó, digamos que hay muchísima variedad y estaciones diferentes, pero no es excelente. Pedimos un room service o un private dinning como denominan aquí, en nuestra Astor suite del piso 34, con unas vistas maravillosas, vino el camarero y dejo la bandeja con todo dentro menos dos platos de hamburguesas, cuando pregunta … ” puedo hacer algo más por ustedes!? ”, muy bien aprendido, le digo si por favor pude colocar la mesa conveniente, y el pobre simplemente no sabía, me di cuenta no es que no quisiera, es que no sabía que era lo que yo pretendía. Yo tengo un gran recorrido por hotel s de 5 Estrellas en Suites y se que puede esperarse de una comida en Suite. Una mesa con sus mantelitos y bien colocado todo. Esto nos chocó mucho. Por otro lado cada vez que entraba en la suite un intenso olor a productos de limpieza pero de los malos y que huelen mal. Otro gran pero a este St Regis, el ruido de la discoteca, recomiendo no coger planta 34 ni 33… de ahí para abajo. La Butler, se me ocurrió pedirle que me deshiciera la maleta, y no se si es que no sabe o que no quizo trabajar, solo saco todo tal cual y lo amontono en dos repisas del armario, no colgó nada de las perchas, lo hizo en 2 minutos on ningún interés, así pues en nuestros 5 días decidimos no usar su servicio, ah! Me olvidaba, la llame una vez para modificar mi reserva y ella lo que hizo fue pasarme con el lugar y tuve que volver a explicar todo y que me cuesta en inglés que no es mi lengua. Para que no sea tanto negativo en mi critica, diré que la suite, las instalaciones, el servicio en general, el check in y out muy atento. Menos una señorita de recepción que le dije que quería cambiar y me dijo de un modo brusco “ siéntese! ”, tan brusco que me quede de pie y cuando lo volvió a de ir igual le dije que no me sentaba por que no me gusto el modo de decírmelo.
